Moira's Steamed Backcountry Bagels

Get creative with this warm snack to fuel those epic days between the peaks!


  • Bagel (type of your choosing)
  • Water
  • Camembert
  • Beetroot Hummus
  • Parsley (Chopped)
  • Venison Sausage


Pour water into your Jetboil and light. Add some Camembert slices to the top of your bagel and once boiling, balance your bagel on the rim of the cup with the water boiling beneath. Place the skirt cover on the top of your bagel to keep that precious steam in.

Once soft and sufficiently warmed, remove the guard, spread the Hummus, place several slices of sausage evenly over the bagel and garnish with chopped parsley leaves. Then enjoy!
