Brassica in the Bush

Have you thought about an outback Broccoli boil? 🔥💦🥦
Broccoli is a fantastic, nutrient-rich superfood, loaded with vitamins B6, E, B1, A and C, as well as being a great source of antioxidants carrying many health benefits. But in regard to flavor, it doesn't always hit the spot. We've all been on the receiving end of soggy, tasteless broccoli! Here's how to get brilliant backcountry broccoli. Every time!

WHAT YOU NEED:

🥦Broccoli Florets: use the tops of fresh raw broccoli (called florets). Frozen broccoli florets will also work well.
🫒Olive Oil: For the best flavor, use high-quality olive oil. As an alternative, you can use any neutral oil, such as avocado oil, canola oil, etc.
🧂Salt & Pepper: For the best flavor, use freshly ground black pepper and Pink Himalayan Salt!

HOW TO COOK:

🥦 First, get your Jetboil to a strong simmer!
🥦 Next, cut the broccoli into medium-sized florets, keeping the stems long.
🥦 Boil the broccoli for 2 ½ to 3 minutes! Taste the broccoli and stop cooking when you get a tender-crisp texture. It cooks quickly, so don't take your eyes off it!
🥦 Finally, using your Jetboil lid, drain the broccoli, let it cool, season and drizzle with Olive Oil, then serve!
